Agenda
- Event Calendar for 2008
A tentative schedule of events for 2008 was set. Note that the schedule is subject to change should the event organizer have a
conflict. The possibility of combining events/event weekends was discussed. For example, it may make sense to run the chili cook-off
and the playgroup meet-and-greet on the Saturday and Sunday (respectively) of the same weekend as an enticement for residents to stay in town over the weekend and attend both events.
Also, a number of events still do not have event coordinators and may not happen if we are unable to find volunteers.
- Stream Clean-up (April 5th or 12th; Date TBD)
Coordinator to be confirmed
No coordinator yet.
Coordinator: Michelle Hermanson
Coordinator TBD
The group had discussion about potentially moving the wine and cheese party (which had been help in June in the part) to either earlier or
later in the year, when the weather is cooler. As of now, there is no coordinator for this event, and the group agreed that the date is very
flexible and the eventual event coordinator should have leeway in picking a date and potentially swapping months with a different event (Townwide Yard Sale, for example).
Coordinator TBD
Potential to combine this event with the wine-and-cheese party
Coordinator to be confirmed

Initial budget for the year was unanimously approved. Potential additional items not currently in the budget include the
costs of producing four reusable signs for UPCA events (signs would have UPCA logo and space to swap in information about any upcoming
event). Shannon Sanford offered to investigate costs. We will also investigate the costs and storage options of one large or
several small tents.
The UPCA is currently operating without several officers, including president and vice president. While this is not unprecedented, the
UPCA is actively seeking volunteers to fill these two positions.
The next meeting of the UPCA is scheduled for Tuesday, February 26th, at 7 pm in the Riverdale Presbyterian Church.
